Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta

Hard to believe, but Columbus Day weekend is less than two weeks away! That of course means that things around here are gearing up for the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest and Regatta. I say it every year, but this is truly something that everyone should see, particularly the regatta on Sunday, October 7 when these enormous pumpkins are turned into BOATS! Yes, that is right, boats with outboard motors attached and then they have races.
